Current subscriber count: we'll publish real numbers here once the newsletter is live. We never estimate or inflate them.
Sponsorship policy
- Always labeled. Every paid placement is marked "Sponsored" at the top, set apart from the news. This follows the FTC's guidance that ads must be clearly identified as ads.
- News stays independent. Sponsors don't review, approve or influence news coverage. If a sponsor is in the news, we cover it like anyone else and note that they are a sponsor.
- We say no sometimes. We don't accept political campaign ads, or ads that are misleading, illegal or inappropriate for a family audience. The publisher has final say on every spot.
- No tracking. We don't sell or share subscriber data with sponsors, and we don't put tracking pixels in sponsor spots.
- Plain billing. Spots are invoiced directly by the publisher. Nothing runs until both sides agree in writing.
